There are many websites that offer websites for sale. So many but not so very good. This industry is still in its early days.I wish there was a website like Find a property that will do to this market what the internet did for the property market.

But still there is one website that it is almost there:
Sitepoint market place Over there you will find really good websites for sale, and yes a lot of crap ones. What I don’t like about this site is that they don’t have a rating system (like ebay for example) and their search option is limited.

I wish there was a search tool over their like:
I want PR5 forum site with $100 income a month, price less then $3000. Wow then life would be easier.

Because of its popularity Sitepoint has many visitors. This is very good if you are trying to sell your website, but for the sophisticated buyer it means less chances to find a real bargain.

Avoid web site broker You don’t get the information you need about a potential website, and worst then that they don’t replay for your questions…

Buy sell website has an ugly design and it is hard to find what you want to, but they have many websites for sale. And unlike Sitepoint it is not for an auction, so you can negotiate the price.

Last one for today:
Sitebazaar.net I was the founder of this website, and I recently sold it. It doesn’t have a lot of sites, but what I tried to do was to screen them so only quality website will publish. I found their many bargains and being the owner of the website I had a first choice :) They also have an auction website that if it will attract more website could be a good one.

If you have more websites, I would love to hear about them!
