Web Ladder - Websites for sale blog

Hi All,

I September I bought from Sitepoint this website. It was cheap $110 with $10 income per month from ad-sense and around 150 unique visitors a day.

I paid and moved it to my server and I got the same results as the seller said. $10 a month income and the traffic were about the same.

But I felt sorry for this website… I didn’t know a thing about After effect so the site was ‘dead’ relaying on old tutorials. This is not a good situation for a website no mater how good is the content. I’ve tried to find some people to post new tutorials but they were expensive.

So I’ve decided to sell… I put it on Digital point because I think this forum is better for small websites like this one. I got an offer of $150 and sold it without any problem. So together with the ad-sense income I made $80 from this website. Not a lot… but I didn’t do anything a part to transfer it to my server.

Again I learnt not to buy a website that I don’t understand a thing about it. Very important lesson
